The amazing feeling of having filled the torturing cliche in Texas left no questions unanswered at my second time in Houston. Why was it torturing? Because when I told people that I was in Houston the first time and did not have steak, they gave me a horrifying look like I committed a crime or something. So when I was planning my second trip to this huge city, I had already programmed myself for a piece of steak. It would not matter if it was going to be an evening where I was going to be really hungry or what kind of restaurant it was going to be, I had to have the steak so I could breath easily again :)
The result: Yes! It was great! the best steak that I had ever had...I can't say anything bad about it. Great meat, great preparation, amazing taste...
I don't know how many kilos I had gained on my second trip to Texas, but I had started eating once and had no plans of stopping it :) So I tasted the lobster the first time in my life! Yes I was a lobster-virgin! :) Who would have thought that I was going to have lobster the first time in my life in Texas? :)
The result: as much as I was excited to taste the lobster, unfortunately it disappointed me a bit. Although it looked amazingly attractive, it came out to be boring when I was expecting an exotic savor...nope...me no accepting...I definitely have to try it somewhere else!
I know my plates look always nasty, sorry about that! :)
